SNOW PEAK
Snow Peak, a revered name in the outdoor gear industry, was founded in 1958 by Yukio Yamai in Niigata, Japan. Nestled in the foothills of Mount Tanigawa, Snow Peak's origins are deeply rooted in Yamai's personal experiences and passion for mountaineering. Discontented with the inadequate gear available at the time, Yamai took it upon himself to design and create superior mountaineering equipment, thus laying the foundation for Snow Peak.
From its inception, Snow Peak distinguished itself through meticulous craftsmanship and innovation. In the 1980s, Yukio's son, Tohru Yamai, took the helm and expanded the brand's vision. Tohru introduced car camping equipment, transforming the company into a comprehensive outdoor lifestyle brand. His foresight led to the creation of modular, user-friendly products that seamlessly blend functionality with elegance, further solidifying Snow Peak's reputation.
