Fuel Compatibility & Safe Use
Use the supplied gas burner outdoors with a standard EN417 threaded isobutane–propane canister kept upright. Check the hose, valve and connections before every use, confirm the support clips are fully seated, and keep the system on a stable, level, non-combustible surface.
The windscreen base can accommodate a compatible brass alcohol burner only after the gas burner has been removed. Never operate gas and alcohol fuel systems at the same time. Do not use the stove inside a tent, vehicle, enclosed shelter or other unventilated space.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the burner have piezo ignition?
No. FIREMAPLE lists manual ignition, so a suitable lighter or fire starter is required.
Which gas canister fits?
The burner connects to a standard EN417 threaded isobutane–propane canister. The canister is sold separately and must remain upright during use.
Can the cookware be used on another stove?
The individual cookware pieces may be used on a stable stove that safely supports their bases. Keep flames beneath the cookware and follow the other stove manufacturer’s instructions.
Is the set suitable for hiking?
At approximately 1.3 kg, it is better suited to car camping, basecamps and shared camp kitchens than ultralight backpacking.
Is it dishwasher safe?
Hand washing is recommended. Allow every part to cool, clean with mild detergent and a soft sponge, then dry completely before nesting.
