I am very happy with this high quality, lightweight titanium gas canister stand, from Firemaple. It folds up very small so it is easy to carry with my stove, but it has proven to be quite strong as I often use it with the Firemaple Petrel table to increase the stability at the stove end.
It also helps on uneven surfaces, such as grass, to level the table. The quality is very good and titanium is used to give long life and reduce corrosion to products used outdoors in all sorts of weather, so I am delighted with the purchase. Along with the Petrel Table it is now a permanent part of my backpacking stove kit.
I have used the plastic gas canister stands in the past the performance of the Firemaple Ash has been superior for my use.

They are the strongest small stools I have ever used with brilliant quality. The larger size is my favourite. That type of service is certainly appreciated.
This small table extends the use of my backpacker stove by attaching over the gas canister. It works beautifully in improving stability and keeping the gas canister better shielded from the heat of the stove. The table is a very clean, flat, work surface for preparing my hot coffee.
For cooking, the added stability is safer and reduces the risk of tip-overs. The lightweight, aluminium-alloy surface is amply strong to support my utensils and the adjustable, foldable stainless-steel legs support the end nicely. At the stove end, I can also use the titanium Firemaple Ash Gas Canister Stand to raise stability levels even further.
The table is good quality, well made and should last a very long time with proper care. Folded and packed flat into the nylon cover, it takes up very little space at about the size of two smart phones side-by-side. The Firemaple Petrel is now an important addition to my backpacker stove and coffee making is now so much easier. A happy purchase.
The Pot, paired with my Soto Windmaster and tri flex pot support make a perfect unit. A much better backpacking option than the heavy and expensive Jetboil style heat exchange units. The stated 750ml capacity of the Firemaple Petrel G2 is also a modest estimate as I can safely boiled about 850ml.
This shelving is strong and versatile. I use it to organise my kitchen and backyard setup, and it holds everything from coffee gear to storage bins. The solid steel frame feels very sturdy, with no weak plastic parts except for the protective feet. It pairs nicely with other IGT parts and gives me flexibility to rearrange things as needed.
