DOMETIC Recon Performance Small Ice Block

Description

Compact cooling for a carefully packed cooler. The Dometic Recon Performance Small Ice Block uses refreezable gel to help keep food and drinks cold without the loose meltwater left by bags of ice. Its 0.4 kg, slim-format design gives you a smaller block to position where your load needs it.

Dometic lists it for all Recon coolers and particularly recommends this size for the soft-sided Recon ZL range. It is a useful option when you want to work cooling into a smaller space or around individual containers.

Key features

  • Reusable gel filling: freeze the block for your outing, then refreeze it for the next trip.
  • Slim, flat profile: an approximately 30 mm thickness makes it easier to plan cooling around food and drink containers.
  • Compact 0.4 kg size: adds targeted cooling without committing to a larger block footprint.
  • Contained cooling: the gel stays inside the block, avoiding loose meltwater from the cooling medium itself.
