Make a warm bowl of rice part of your next night under the stars. The FIREMAPLE Petrel G2 Rice Cooker Insert 400ml adds lightweight rice cooking to your hiking kitchen, with room for a hearty solo serve or rice for two.

Insert only. Requires the Petrel G2 750ml pot and its lid, sold separately. Stove, fuel and utensils are not included.

Cooking & Packing

Use 300 ml water in the outer pot. Soak rice for 15 minutes, then cook on low heat for 15 minutes and rest for 10 minutes. Follow the illustrated filling and assembly instructions. Never heat the insert directly.

A 230 g canister fits inside the insert, but both cannot nest inside the G2 pot together. This is the G2 version, separate from the G3 rice cooker.
