Having had a Jet Boil and now a Firemaple, I can confidently give my opinion on the two.
Both heat water efficiently. The Firemaple has a handle for ease of holding versus a strap on the Jet Boil.
The Firemaple holds more water, and is very competitively priced compared to a Jet Boil.
