GREEN STOVE Spark Block Unit

Description

The GREEN STOVE Spark Block Unit is an essential accessory designed to enhance the safety and functionality of your camping stove setup. Crafted with precision, it effectively minimizes the risk of sparks escaping through the chimney, ensuring a safer cooking environment.

Key Features:

  • Efficient Spark Arrestor: Prevents embers and sparks from exiting the chimney, reducing the risk of unintended fires.

  • Durable Construction: Made from high-quality materials to withstand high temperatures and prolonged use.

  • Easy Installation: Designed for a straightforward attachment to compatible stove pipes, ensuring a secure fit.

  • Compact Design: Maintains the portability of your stove setup without adding significant bulk.

The Spark Block unit by GREEN STOVE supports two operation modes that can be easily switched using the rotary knob switch. Here's the difference between the Wood Mode and Pellet Mode:

🔥 Wood Mode

  • When to use: When burning logs or wood materials, which typically produce more sparks.

  • How it works: Rotate the knob to the dash “–” position.

  • Functionality:

    • Redirects the smoke through a U-shaped flue inside the Spark Block unit.

    • Filters out sparks and embers from escaping through the chimney.

    • Helps prevent tent or gear damage caused by flying sparks.

🌾 Pellet Mode

  • When to use: When burning biomass fuel pellets with a compatible pellet burner.

  • How it works: Rotate the knob to the plus “+” position.

  • Functionality:

    • Opens a direct straight-through path for smoke via the upper and lower chambers.

    • Ensures maximum draft needed by pellet burners, which require higher internal negative pressure.

    • Pellets burn completely without producing sparks, so spark filtration is unnecessary in this mode.

Switching Between Modes

  • The rotary knob enables quick switching depending on your fuel type.

  • It also integrates with the multifunctional ash scraper for easier maintenance.

Specifications

  • Material: Premium-grade stainless steel.

  • Dimensions: Optimized to fit standard chimney pipes (specific measurements based on compatibility).

  • Weight: 2.5kg

⚠️ Usage Safety Instructions:

  1. Do not use indoors in enclosed spaces. Always monitor the fire when in use.

  2. Ensure stable, continuous combustion to avoid flameout, which may result in smoke backflow into tents.

  3. The chimney must be intact and clear of debris. Clean the chimney regularly to prevent blockages.

  4. When using the pellet burner, adhere to the required vertical chimney height to prevent backdraft and pellet re-ignition.

  5. Only use 6–8mm diameter, max 30mm length wood biomass pellets.

  6. Do not burn any fuel other than wood or biomass pellets.

  7. Always wear heat-resistant gloves when operating. Do not touch the stove surface with bare hands even shortly after extinguishing – it may cause burns.

  8. Do not place heavy objects on top of the stove to avoid tipping or damaging the unit.

  9. Ensure the stove is completely cooled down before storing or discarding ashes.
