Visiting Cosy Camp in Knoxfield: What to Expect

Plan a visit to our Knoxfield showroom with current contact details, pickup guidance and a checklist for choosing camping gear in person.

Visit Cosy Camp at Unit 2, 37 Rushdale Street, Knoxfield VIC 3180, Wednesday to Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm. You’re welcome to browse selected camping gear and ask for help with your next setup. If you’re making the trip for a particular item, check that it is available to view before leaving home.

Whether you’re coming from elsewhere in Knox, across Melbourne or further afield, a little preparation helps make the visit worthwhile. Here’s how to find us, organise pickup and bring the right details for a useful gear conversation.

Checked against Cosy Camp’s store locator and contact page on 10 September 2026. Check those pages again before travelling, particularly around public holidays.

Finding the showroom

The showroom is inside the commercial complex at 37 Rushdale Street. Enter from Rushdale Street and look for Unit 2. Save the full unit address in your directions so you know which part of the complex you are looking for.

For a first visit to this part of Melbourne’s south-east, use the map link supplied on our store locator to plan your route. Allow for traffic on the day rather than relying on a fixed travel-time estimate.

Parking, loading and accessibility

Both side of Rushdale st, or Cosy Camp behind showroom parking area are available for customer to park, without meter to parking limit.

If you’re collecting a large item, call ahead for loading directions and check the packed dimensions against your vehicle. Mention a trailer or tall vehicle when asking about access.

If you need step-free entry, space for a wheelchair or mobility aid, an accessible parking bay or an accessible toilet, please contact us before travelling so the team can confirm the arrangements you need.

What can you see in person?

The store locator describes selected displays across tents and shelters, lighting, furniture, IGT systems, cooking equipment, storage and sleeping gear. The display changes, and the online catalogue is larger than the range that can be shown at once.

For your visit, it helps to distinguish three things: an item listed online, stock available to buy, and a sample available to inspect. Ask about the exact model, size and colour you want to see. An online listing does not establish that a tent is pitched or a particular variation is on display.

Think about what you want to learn from seeing the item. Is it the packed size, fabric, chair height, table layout or how an accessory attaches? Tell the team when you enquire so they can check whether the visit will answer that question.

Can I see a demonstration?

If a setup demonstration would help, ask whether one can be arranged for the product and date you have in mind. Confirm what can be shown and whether an appointment is needed before making a special trip.

The website does not confirm a regular demonstration timetable or on-demand operation of stoves, heaters or other equipment. This guide therefore makes no promise of a live demonstration.

Check availability before travelling

  1. Make a short list. Save product links, model codes and the colours or sizes you’re considering. Note any accessories you want to compare alongside them.
  2. Contact the team. Call 0424 184 795, email support@cosycamp.com.au or use the contact form. Say when you hope to visit.
  3. Ask separate questions about display and stock. Is the exact item available to view? Is the version you want available to purchase or collect? If you want it assembled, ask specifically.
  4. Check before a long drive. If your plans change or your visit is several days away, reconfirm anything essential to the trip. Ask whether an item can be held rather than assuming an enquiry reserves it.

You could send a message like this:

Hello, I’m planning to visit on [day]. I’d like to compare [product links and variations]. Are they available to view, and is stock available to purchase? I’m particularly interested in checking [packed size, setup or compatibility].

Collecting an online order

Free click and collect is available through the Knoxfield pickup option at checkout. Place the order, then wait for the pickup confirmation before travelling.

The store locator estimates approximately one hour for most in-stock orders during opening hours. Treat this as an estimate, not a guaranteed collection time. Some items may need preparation or retrieval from storage.

Have your order number and pickup confirmation handy when you arrive, and follow any instructions in that message. If another person will collect for you, contact the team first to confirm what they should bring. For bulky gear, check loading arrangements before setting off.

An order acknowledgement and a ready-for-pickup confirmation serve different purposes: wait for the message confirming that your order is ready.

What to bring for useful gear advice

You don’t need a finished shopping list. A few notes about your trip and current equipment give the conversation a useful starting point.

Details worth saving on your phone
Your question Helpful information to bring
Which tent or shelter? Number of adults and children, mattress dimensions, campsite size, seasons, and whether you drive to camp or carry your gear.
Will it fit in my car? Boot opening and usable cargo-space measurements, the vehicle model, and photos of the space with your usual gear.
Which table or chair? Preferred sitting and working heights, who will use it, and storage limits.
Which light or power setup? What needs lighting or charging, how many nights you’ll be away, and the charging connections you already use.
Will an accessory fit? Exact brand and model codes, labels, measurements and clear photos of the connection points. Brand names alone may not identify the right version.
Where should I start? Your budget, next trip date, equipment you already own and the main problem you want to solve.

Photos are a useful first step for compatibility questions. Ask before bringing a large tent, stove or other bulky item into the showroom. If fit cannot be confirmed from the available information, allow time to check the manufacturer’s specifications.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an appointment to visit?

The appointment is not required during regular opening hours. Contact the team first for a specific display request, demonstration or access arrangement.

Can I visit on a public holiday?

Plan on closure unless the team confirms otherwise for your intended date.

Is parking available at the showroom?

Yes, plenty of parking available behind showroom and at front street.

Is the showroom wheelchair accessible?

Step-free entry, internal clearances. Tell the team what access you need before travelling and ask for specific details.

Is every product on the website on display?

No. Ask about the exact item and variation before making a special trip. Stock for sale and display samples need separate confirmation.

Can I collect immediately after ordering?

Wait for the pickup confirmation, even if the product shows as in stock. Follow the collection instructions in that message. But it normally ready in about 15 mins after order placed.

Can beginners ask for advice?

Yes. Start with where you’re going, who’s coming and your budget. You don’t need to know the name of every component to explain what you want your camping setup to do.

Ready to plan a visit? Check the latest showroom information, save the directions to Unit 2 and get in touch if there’s something particular you’d like to see. We look forward to welcoming you to Cosy Camp.
